Thermal Theory started in 2021 with a search for everyday clothing options that offered core warmth and wind protection without looking like they were designed for a polar expedition.
Through months of research, proto-type and product testing, we developed a clothing range that can take you from the couch, to the beach, to camping or hiking in the hills; all while maximising comfort and warmth.
Our unique dual layer fabric offers a thick 550gsm cotton blend outer shell for wind protection and a super soft brushed sherpa inner core for ultimate comfort. We have found a fabric which can stand up to the rigours of everyday wear and tear while maintaining it's fluffy thermal comfort, even after numerous washing cycles.

Kangaroo Island is famously known as the "Galapagos of Australia", with its raw and rugged coastline, impeccably clear waters, natural wonders and abundant wildlife, Kangaroo Island is truly nature’s playground.
Thermal Theory is 100% Australian owned and operated. Our clothing collections are designed by us in Australia. Whenever possible we prioritise the use of local and Australian owned companies and environmentally sustainable practices.
